Things to do around Tofo

Whalesharks .. if you are very lucky you may encounter them on a dive, but dont worry if you dont dive, there are daily trips to find and snorkel with these gentle giants, they are amazing.

Humpback Whales ! yes in season July to October you can spot these whales as they migrate past, you can take trips out to see them (not swim with them) but you can also see them from the shore.

While there are no special trips to spot the dolphins you can often spot them while looking for whalesharks or spot them in the surf from the clifftop.
