Family Chalets at Ai Ais

For groups and families there is 7 'premier chalets' I prefer to call them family chalets as although they are nice the 'premier' tag overrates them! They have tow bedrooms ensuite bathrooms, sitting area, kitchen, tea / coffee station, air conditioning and the best feature a lovely outside area with a braai/bbq area.

Kitchen equipment

Being a self catering accommodation they have their own kitchen with basic equipment supplied: a 2 plate stove, kettle, fridge, cutlery. pots and a microwave oven.

The condition of the equipment does vary so expect the basics and make use of what you get. The other thing to remember is that there is only a basic shop at Ai Ais, so if you want particular food or drink bring the ingredients, the shop only offers basics and not a great deal of meat. Remember this is a remote area in a big country, Ai Ais often has electricity issues .. and supply logistics are not easy so dont expect too much.

Braai / bbq area

Apart from the extra beds and space the best part of these chalets is the outside braai area, its lovely to cook on the fire as you sit outside sipping a cold drink, listening to the sounds of the evening as you try not to burn tonights supper.
